"The New Person" is the tenth episode of the first season of Six Feet Under.  It was written by Bruce Eric Kaplan, directed by Kathy Bates and first aired on August 5, 2001.


Nate and David hire a replacement for Rico -- Angela. She's very good at what she does, but they have a hard time getting used to her willingness to speak her mind. Billy has a rather surprising gallery exhibit of some of his work.

HANLEY, Jonathan. Born August 24, 1946. Died May 4, 2001. He is pre-deceased by his parents David and Martha and is survived by his wife Sally. Jonathan worked for 32 years as a customer service representative at Nashua Lamp mail order company and will be greatly missed by his co-workers.

Private services will be held Wednesday May 9th at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
