Parker McKenna is Claire Fisher's best friend during her senior year of high school. On the surface she appears to be a "goody two shoes" but their friendship suffers a blow when she cheats on her SATs and is accepted into better colleges than Claire.
After Claire enrolls at art school, the person who took Parker's SAT exams is arrested and Parker is enrolled at community college instead. The two are no longer on speaking terms after graduation.
