Olivier Castro-Staal is Claire Fisher's art teacher, specializing in Form and Space. He also teaches her classmate Russell Corwin and previously taught Billy Chenowith. Olivier is bisexual and has flings with both Russell and Billy, but ends up with the latter's mother Margaret Chenowith sometime following the death of her husband.
