Biography
He was raised Jewish but ultimately became an atheist. While working as a celebrity psychiatrist he met his future wife Margaret while she was working in his office as a intern during the 1960s. They married in 1967 and had two children Brenda and Billy.
They courted controversy when they made headlines for allowing their daughter to undergo testing by the renowned Dr. Gareth Feinberg for her uncontrollable behavior.
The couple briefly separated in 2002 when Margaret learned of his affair with a younger woman but later reunited and renewed their wedding vows. However, Bernard succumbed to stomach cancer in 2003.
